A pioneer in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery, he founded the Robotic Cardiac Surgery Program and has performed over 19,000 open-heart surgeries. His expertise spans complex congenital heart disease correction, coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, heart transplantation, ventricular assist devices, and advanced minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
